 My Jazzy Journal     The book called Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe has been a great book that I actually enjoyed reading. It was interesting and I liked that Ari made a friend that he got to know so well and also ending up liking. Dante felt the same way which is a great way to end the book. For Ari to express his feelings about being ashamed to come out is something that I haven't related to so I learned about through Ari.  I think this story was set where it is to show all the details that happened and how it all came together. This would make a great tv show because it talks about being alone in school but Ari didn't mind doing things alone and he made a friend it also talks about being gay and also in the middle and the end it talks about how to not be ashamed and at the end he came out. I would film this in color as well.

brown girl dreaming      I enjoyed this book a lot and it was very interesting to read. Every time I started reading I read so many pages and I feel like that hasn't happened before. I read the entire book and didn't dread doing it and I surprised myself. I like that this book was all about not giving up and family. I was excited to read this book which is weird.      This book would make a great movie in color or in black and white. If it were in color it would seem more present and lively and if it was in black and white it would make it seem more real and maybe you would feel what is happening. Also one of the characters I would eliminate is Robert the mom's brother.  Jazzy Journal! I think that I am going to really enjoy reading this book. I like to learn about what happened in the past and how it changed throughout the years. If the roles were switched and the character were a boy I feel like they would get the same treatment because they story starts out with Jacqueline being young. This story is set where it is to explain the story and tell what happened throughout the story. Also it is set where it is to show if anything has changed at the end of the book. I would film this story in color to show how everything looked because if it is in black and white it isn't showing everything that happened and I feel like more would understand and be intrigued if it were filmed in color. Jacqueline is different from me because I was born where racism wasn't around but also we are kind of the same because racism still exists. Also she was born in the south and I wasn't.  My Jazzy Journal I think that the book is good so far it is something that I've never read before but it is interesting. It has some humor in the beginning so overall it is something that I can enjoy reading. I think that it is set in the graveyard to show human nature. Humans always judge others even though they do not know them because in the book it shows that ghosts are nice and humans aren't. In the first paragraph of chapter one he talks about and shows that he is using a knife for something and that makes me read on because I wanted to know what happened and why it started off that way. It also does a good job describing the knife and makes the man mysterious and makes me want to find out more and what he plans to do. If I were to recreate the cover page I would add ghosts and make it look more mysterious. If I were to film this book I would keep it in black and white to make it more mysterious, it can make it feel more real like an actual ghost tv show, also if it were...

  My jazzy Journal                 I think that if the characters switched roles it would be the same. I feel like Luna’s journey could be the same as if it were a boy. He would be saved by the Xan and would be taken care of. He would go on a journey using magic and Xan would probably do the same by putting his magic away until he turned thirteen. But it would also be interesting if the roles were switched.              The story is set where it is because it goes along with the story. Based in the forest and the characters being a dragon and everything it wouldn’t make sense for it to be based anywhere else.              I think this book would be a great series for children.
